About Therapy

Counselling and Psychotherapy is a face to face talking therapy that allows a person to talk about their problems, thoughts and feelings in a confidential and safe environment.

I am trained Integrative and CBT therapist who uses a range of therapeutic approaches to best suit my clients' needs. I use different tools and approaches to find the best fit for you. Including:

  • Supporting you to discover your potential and ability to make the right choices.
  • Exploring your past and how this affects you today.
  • Helping you to identify patterns in your thoughts, behaviours and find ways to change them.

    My counselling is also LGBT+ affirmative, which means I fully accept your sexual and gender identity, whatever it may be, and do not view these fundamental parts of you as things that need treating or changing.

    What Benefits can be Expected?
    To help you deal and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or making you feel uncomfortable. It can provide a safe and regular space for you to talk and explore difficult feelings. As a therapist I am there to support you and respect your views. I will not give you advice, but will help you find your own insights into understanding of your problems.

    It's important you are comfortable with your therapist before you make a commitment.
